Okay, has anyone used OxiClean in their steamcleaner? I've tried looking it up at Bissel.com and OxiClean.com and I am not getting an answer.

I haven't used it in a steam cleaner but I did put it in a bucket scrubbed spouts out of my carpet with a rag the other day.

Yeah, I think I may have to do that and then re-steam clean the carpets. They are nasty. The carpeting here SUCKS up dirt and hates being cleaned!! :lmao

We get those, too! I thought it was mold but it ended up being just dirt!

I wonder if we can use it! Now I am curious!

i've used it in our steam cleaner, it worked well, the carpet in my room is grayish purple and my dads co-worker who stayed with him spilled soda and spit on it so it was stained, the stains aren't so bad now but they are still kind of there. I can't remember how much i used but it can be done

Kristi just found the steamcleaner ratio on a website. She told me it was 1 scoop of OxiClean and a gallon of water. I'm going to have to try it tonight in the YUCKY Living Room!

:thumbsup I think I have a new found respect for OxiClean! We bought it 7-8yrs ago when it first came out and I hated it!!! It did not work! I just scrubbed the really tough stains on the LR floor, then used the 1 scoop-1gallon ratio in my steam cleaner. Well, so far it looks a helluva lot cleaner!! :inshock :cp Then I noticed SOMEONE spilled something down the back of the couch!! So I used the cleaner on that! WOW! :shock Right off!! I think I may like this for carpets and upholstery! :thumbsup

I've used it as well with my Bissell steam cleaner..I just dissolved it in water first so it wouldn't clog the filter and tube...works great I think..especially on pet stains/odors...our dog is 14 and sometimes she can't make it to the door in time..
