He was SOOO looking forward to it. He left when the baby was 3 weeks old :tears and she'll be nearly 9 months when he gets home :no He feels every week he misses counts. I feel more for him than me. KWIM?

That is the dumbest fucking thing I have ever heard. I really hope he gets to come home early. I know EXACTLY how you feel in regards to the baby. It sucks more for me to know that DH is missing so much of Prestons growth rather than him just being gone.

That happened with my dh also. They changed a couple of different times about who was coming home early. It just so happens that my husband came home early because he was sick. I hope they change it and your husband gets to come home early.

I was REALLY iffy about it, I didn't want to miss out on "homecoming" but the more I thought on it, I'd rather have HIM, and now... THIS... :depressed
