Ok, I dont know what they are called, go figure:arg But those little circle pan things that go under your burner on the stove. How do you clean them? On of mine has like black burnt on stuff, and I have scrubbed it with dish soap, used grease lightning, and a magic eraser thing, and there is still black stuff on it.

And if anyone has a tip for me I would love it, so I dont have to buy new ones.

You can also spray them down with Easy Off oven cleaner to soak them & that should do the trick also

Soak them in ammonia or vinegar. Those two solutions work really well :yes

Just don't mix the two!

Baking soda helps a lot too. Use it like a paste and it really works the grease right off.

Kabam works good for ceramic. if you have the ones that are removeable you can either cover them in foil or go to the dollar store and get some cheap ones and use them and put the good ones away. Mine don't come off so it's a huge pain.

I found that if you spray oven cleaner then turn the eye on for a few minutes, it will come right off ( found that out by mistake, but hey it works!) Or just go buy new ones... their really cheap.. like maybe 2 bucks at wally world, but they may be cheaper on post..

If they're caked on THAT badly, I'd buy new ones!!!!! I bet the $0.99 store even has them!!!
I bought new ones when I moved out of my rental. A 4 pack was less than $11 TOTAL at Walmart. :)
I'd rather spend the $11 than all day cleaning the caked on drip pans...LOL!!!

Otherwise you can cover them with foil and call it a day. :wink
