I'm dying for Lasik as soon as we get settled somewhere...

Glasses but I don't wear them as much as I should. :( I really should start wearing them more... also I need to get new ones already. :teehee

I have glasses and contacts. I use to wear my glasses because I'm too lazy in the morning to put contacts in but my puppy chewed the side so now they don't stay on.

hey that's me too!! I've had the same pair of glasses for at least 3 years now..

I am supposed to wear glasses for reading. However my sweet ds broke them last year and I have never gotten around to replacing them. But it is only because I needed them to relax my eyes for my extended reading times. I used to read about 4-6 hours a day between school, and fun.

I have glasses and contacts, but wear the glasses mostly. It's second nature to me after wearing them since I was 3. I'll get LASIK in another 5-10 years.

I have glasses and contacts and I go through phases of which ones I feel like wearing. To class and around the house I wear my glasses alot, but at work or to work out I wear my contacts. I would LOVE to get Lasik!

p.s. trying to swim when you are blind as a bat SUCKS.

oh yeah...I know what ya mean about the swimming thing. DH wonders how I can see so well in the dark..I tell him it's because I am used to not being able to see without my glasses on!

This thread makes me want to go and find my contacts and start wearing them again.

i have both! i wear my contacts more i hate having my glasses on my face. i just got new glasses after years and years of the same old pair. they are cute, but still i usually just wear them in the morning and at night.

i was going to get lasik but lucky for me i have pupils that are too big, yes who would have ever thought right?!, so I CAN'T get the surgery, that was a huge bummer, because apparently if you have the surgery but have too big of pupils you will get the halo affect or whatever so no surgery for me ever :tears contacts and glasses are just such a pain i would love to wake up in the morning and just be able to SEE!!!

I couldn't really vote, b/c I never have wore glasses/contacts, however the older I get the worse my vision gets LOL

The only way I can correct my vision perfectly is with a corneal transplant, which I may need sometime in the future. :(

Haha, same with me. I haven't even taken out my contacts in ages (shhhh....don't tell the eye Dr.) I know I have glasses somewhere, but they are so old I doubt Id be able to see out of them.

I have 20/10 vision...so what you can see at 10 feet, I can see at 20.

DF wears glasses and contacts tho...

I'm near sighted. I've worn glasses since 8th grade. Got contacts just before senior year of high school and have worn them since. I only wear my glasses at home, at night or early in the morning before I've gotten my 'eyes' put in.

I don't think I'd do lasik. Too much of a scardy cat for that.

I have glasses and contacts. I wear my glasses at home and when I have to run out real quick early in the morning or at night. I wear my contacts when it's really bright outside so I can wear my sunglasses and also when I want to look nice.

I need new glasses... same prescription since my junior year in high school and that was 5 years ago! LOL!! Still works though. It's a bit stronger than my contacts.

I want Lasik though.. my parents promised me Lasik when I graduated college so I'm working on that!! :D

Yea, I need to get to the eye dr when I can afford it. I went last year but the idiot told me my contacts and eyeglasses scrip was too strong eventhough it was 3 years old and I told him it was too weak... he wouldn't listen and the contacts were way too weak couldn't see 2 feet with them so I told them to send them back and get me my old scrip. And I tossed the glasses scrip cause I new it was too weak too. Idiots :rolleyes:

Technically I'm supposed to wear glasses when I'm reading or on the computer. But I tend not to and then wonder why I get such a bad headache. When DH is home he'll remind me to wear them if I even look at my laptop screen.

I have had glasses since I was in the 5th grade. I wear them all the time. Had contacts once and lost one and never got around to getting a new one. I hope to get contatcs again someday soon.
