I like your girl name. ;)

We're done having babies, so I'm not thinking of names anymore.

we only have a boy name picked out:

Nathan Micheal (micheal is my dad's name)

but it's "tradition" in his family that the first born son has the mother's maiden name as his middle name...yeah, that's not gonna happen. the poor kid would have a very german 9 letter middle name, and an extremly irish 8 letter last name. so he's just gonna have to deal with not doing that.

for girl names, we haven't the slightest idea. :lol

:D I was just thinking about this tonight.

We had Gideon James and Eileigh Mikaylah picked out for the one we lost however I feel strange using that for the next one.

My husband is 1/2 Swede though and I am over 1/2 German so I think the next one will have a German/Swedish combo. For a boy I love Sven, SOren, Gunnar and Matteus. For a girl I am not sure, I like Annika, Anneli, Atalie, and Viveka.... strange I know but his mom is VERY proud of being Swedish. Sven would be a slight problem possibly has my husband's sister named her daughter Svea. But hey I guess it would work if we wanted it too. :D

Oh yes. I've had a boy name picked out since High School and a girl's name I really like but is now very common......DH won't talk about names no matter how much I try to coax him to do so, but he will tell me if he absolutely hates a name! I used to be set on naming my first daughter Scarlet, but he nixed that when we were still dating :mumble

Not sure if I want to share my name ideas.......I may try to keep them a surprise....:suspect

I like doing the family traditions too. DD's middle name is fourth generational.

If we were to have a boy, his middle name would by DH's first name of William (which DH doesn't use)...that's a tradition in my family and even though his doesn't use that...I think its nice for the boy to have a piece of daddy's name.

And, my dd's name is a town name, Chelsea...and then my brother named his dd with a town name 'Madison', and they are good strong traditional names. So, I like that idea to.

So for a boy maybe:
Garrett William
Blake William

For a girl, we've had one name stick out for a while, but I just don't know...

Savannah Kaylee

I'm still working on names.

Boy's name: Francis Joseph.
Francis is the first name of the first born son in my fiance's family for 10+ generations (my fiance goes by Topher, for his middle name Christopher)... We'd call him Joseph. Also, my Grandpa Frank's name was Francis Joseph.

Girl's name: Anneliese Claire
One of the girls in my ESOL class was named Anneliese, and I LOVE the name... that is the way she spelled it, but I have seen other spellings and am trying to decide. I love Claire. And our daughter's initials would be ACC which Topher really likes.

We have other names that we're throwing around, but that's the first boy and first girl names. :)

Well its also a tradition in DH's family to name the children with the same first letters as the parents... ( all his family is C's and K's after his) so I was thinking of continuing it... we havent actaully talked about kids names yet... but we have decided to start working on making them when he gets back, lol...

sure do.

Boy
Andrew Joshua, Hayden James, Leland Mitchell

Girl
Caelie Rose, Lauren Grace, Riley, Charlie

Thats so funny bacause I love Leland, but DH hates it. My name is Lauren, and if we have another girl, I like Grace as the middle name. We have a lot in common when it comes to names. lol

I always liked the names Katherine, Caterina, Caitlyn, Deirdre, etc but I probably wouldn't use them. We went for a norse name for our son, so we may continue that trend with our next kid, too. We like names that are not overused, and have a classical sound to them. We're really picky :)

I like Eleanore Grace
Evelyn Rose
and Erin Leigh for girls. Purely coincidental, that they all start with E, LOL
DH's name is Aron Lee, which is where the Erin Leigh comes from. He hates it, lol, but I think he'd let me name her that.
We don't have boys' names, lol

I love the name Gunnar!!! I had a friend at work named Gunnar (i forget the middle name) the III and then he had a brother that worked there too named Grover (soemthing) the II. It was pretty neat!

For us though. Elizabeth Grace was picked because I like old fashion names. And DH wants to name a boy (if we have one) Mathew Sabastian cuz he loves the name Sabastian. If we have another girl I think I want to name her Isabelle or Isabella and call her Belle or Bella. But who knows! We changed our mines sooo much when I was preggo.
