Below are the Secret Sister Guildelines and Questionnaire:

What Is Secret Sister?
It is like Secret Santa. You are randomly assigned to a person who will not know who you are. Over the next month you will have the opportunity to get to know someone you might not have known so well before on SOS and to make them feel special. This can be anything from sending emails, e-cards, snail mail or maybe a little package. Someone else in return is assigned to you and you will get emails, etc. as well from them.
Secret Sister will start June 4th(Monday) and end July 2nd(Monday) for a total of 4 weeks. Fill out the questionnaire below and email or PM it back to one of us if you would like to join.
The Rules:
1. ONLY PARTICIPATE if you truly intend to do it and know that you will be able to for the full month. If you have doubts about whether you will be in town or online, then DO NOT SIGN UP!
2. CONTACT REQUIRED. You are responsible for contacting your sister and to send email, snail mail etc. It doesn't have to be anything big. So don't worry if you feel that you can't participate due to money. Being a sis means making the other person feel special and to pay attention to them. A simple e-mail can do the same. Try to get to know her even better, ask about her family, read her posts on SOS and comment on them, be interested in everything going on in her life. Remember that its okay to ask more questions than just whats on the questionnaire already. :)
A lot of girls make up a screename on here just for secret sister. For example: Jennifer's_SS. That way you can make posts and give gifts to your sister right here on the boards. You can also make a free email account through Yahoo or Hotmail to use for secret sister. Just make sure you don't use your real name when you sign up for the account!
3. CONTACT 3-4 TIMES/WEEK. Send a form of contact (email, e-card, PM, snail mail, gifts, posts on the board) at least 3-4 times a week. If you can not do this for any reason, contact us IMMEDIATELY. Not once a week, or once every other week! 3-4 TIMES PER WEEK!
4. TWO STRIKES and you are out. After having problems in the past with people not doing their end of things, this is necessary, especially since this lasts only 1 month. If we receive two complaints and after talking to that person, we feel that it would be unfair for your sis to keep waiting for emails, etc. we will give her a new secret sister. If you have to be removed from secret sister for not holding up your end of the deal, and you DON'T have a darn good reason, you WILL NOT be allowed to participate in other swap meet rounds.
5. TALK TO US if you for one reason or another you cannot continue during this round. We will not be mad. Life happens, and everyone understands that. We just want to be able to reassign your sister to someone else ASAP.
6. ACKNOWLEDGE YOUR SECRET SISTER. Whomever is supporting you, make sure you let them know when you've received their gift or card, reply to their mail or posts, etc. It is just as frustrating to support someone and not hear back from your Secret Sister in return. If you know that you’ll be out of town for a couple of days – just tell them so no one worries about you or thinks you’re giving them the cold shoulder.
7. IT’S A SECRET! The whole point of secret sister is to keep it a secret until we reveal everyone at the end of the round. Don't use your real name or screenname when you send things. Just simply sign it, YOUR SECERT SISTER. And if you PM your sister, or send them an email make up a username just for this. Make a new Photobucket account if you're going to post graphics. Use your SS e-mail address if you sign up for an e-card service. See number 2 above!
8. This is supposed to be fun ladies! Please do not sign up if you don't intend to be a GREAT sister.
Thanks to EVERYONE who chooses to participate, if you feel like you cannot participate the entire time but would be willing to be a fill-in Secret Sister in case of emergency, etc., please let us know also!
