Just wondering if any of you girls do altered arts, like altered books, tags, etc. :)
I'm currently trying out altered cigarrete boxes (because lord knows we have tons of those laying around). I'm thinking of using them as little gift boxes, or maybe seed holders or something.

"REPURPOSED GREETINGS CARDS: Here are more uses for greeting cards. If a card has a border design, I cut it off, punch a hole and add a cord or ribbon for a bookmark. I cut small designs from cards and use them as gift tags. If a card has a definite design without printing on it, I cut it out and use it as a Christmas-tree ornament. Yeah, greeting cards are pretty multi-purpose too. I've made x-mas tree decorations out of old x-mas cards, that was pretty fun. I think I'll do that again this year (super cheap, and they look pretty cool!).

I'm going to make a pencil holder out of a campbells soup can, lol, for DD. Just need some tacky glue, because my scrapbooking glues refused to work on the metal :duh.

That sounds so cool about making a pencil holder!! Gosh, I wish I thought of doing that, before buying one from Office Depot. I recently read about making magazine holders out of cereal boxes. (Yet, again, when I read that, I had already bought ours from Office Depot.)

What other ideas do you all have that I need to put into motion before I end up buying them pre-made? LOL!

One thing that I do with my used paper is make little notepads. I use a template then put a picture and my name on them, then print out the pages and cut them out. DH laughs that I recycle my paper like that. (I don't use paper that needs to be shred like stuff with SS #'s and stuff, though.)

Oh I'm mad on this things lol I'm actually bad on decorations. I can work with papers and pics and all that but that's about it lol
