and it's really killing me!! he's been gone for about a 2wks now and i send him letters every day....and i get at least 2 letters from him a day and he ALWAYS tells me that he's not getting any of mine. are they hoarding them from him? he says it breaks his heart because everyone gets called during mail time but him and that as he wrote the letter i got today he cried. but i write him every day and send them everyday!!!! i mean...i know it doesn't take 2 WEEKS from a letter to get to fort leonard wood, mo from san diego, ca.....and the post office isn't sending them back...so i mean....what??? is this normal???:pout

Double check the addy just to be sure... This might sound dumb, but you know the post office raised the cost of a stamp right?

yes i'm 1,000% positive!!! and in e v e r y letter he like writes the address saying THIS is how you write it and all of this....asking me if i'm sure that i am doing it write because he gets none of my letters. and i do it right!!! i feel like a loser because im in tears...but im not a loser and i don't wanna go to my friends because they probably think im being "emotional".

As confusing as it is it often takes longer for mail to go in to them than it does for it to come out to you. It isn't uncommon for it to take 3 or more weeks for them to start receiving your letters. Just keep writing and know that eventually he will get your letters.

thanks....im coming to you all w/this confusion because i know you've all been there where as w/my friends, they may think im just a weirdo trippin` out over letters....i hope he gets em...because he's beginning to think the worse...

well he has only written me and his mom....i talked to her like last week i believe...and she said she got a letter but knowing her, i doubt she wrote back...but i know his aunt did. i called her, but just waiting on a return call or email. but honestly...i think im the only one he's writing because when i talked to his aunt and mom they were pretty jealous that i've gotten phone calls but they haven't...lol...but in a playful way. from what i've noticed, i get all the letters...lol.

naw...just BCT. but im beginning to become optimistic and not be all down....my mood has lightened....im hanging in there!!!

fyi...ft.lost in the woods post office sucks. I sent my husband a package out there are send it on april 17 ( certified, signatue request & everything ) .... well it was signed for on the 20th but someone deleivered it to the wrong area, so he didn't get it till may 10 !!!!!!!

I was pissed all b/c who ever sorts the mail there sucks. Keep faith !!!
