I was just wondering tonight what to do with all the books I read. I usually give them to family or friends. Aurora 05-25-2007, 12:26 AM That's a neat site. I was just wondering tonight what to do with all the books I read. I usually give them to family or friends. If you do it let me know what happens! Germanchick 05-25-2007, 12:26 AM I just can't let go of books I have read whether they were good or not. lol MichelleB 05-25-2007, 12:29 AM I only keep my Harry Potter and Nicholas Sparks books. I let the rest go. I used to keep them all, but the numbers were getting out of hand :rofl Alexandra 06-20-2007, 07:12 PM I prefer paperback swap. My account: http://allie.paperbackswap.com/profile/index.php bookchick 06-21-2007, 08:00 AM I have been a bookcrosser for years. I never let books I love go, but I tend to buy paperbacks from used bookstores and if they are just OK, I let them go. I set up an official bookcrossing zone in my library, and people in my town release their books at the library. It's pretty cool. :) NikkiD 06-21-2007, 03:11 PM I keep only the books I really like, my classics, educational ones, leatherbound and antique. I only by large paperback or hard cover because they are nicer. I buy mostly used though. jlbecker 06-21-2007, 03:23 PM i want to try it!! i never hang on to novels. i only keep my nonfiction books. i think i'm gonna try it. i'm almost finished "The Memory Keeper's Daughter" Nickschic 06-21-2007, 05:03 PM i want to try it!! i never hang on to novels. i only keep my nonfiction books. i think i'm gonna try it. i'm almost finished "The Memory Keeper's Daughter" I just got that book the other day. Is it really good? I also got one called My Sisters Keeper I just started reading it lastnight. It is really good so far. As for the book crossing thing I like it I think I may have to do that. As for the book crossing thing I like it I think I may have to do that. My Sister's Keeper is excellent...I really like Jodei Picoult. You should read The Pact if you like it. I just finished the memory keeper's daughter a little while ago. I enjoyed it but it wasn't my favorite book ever. rosebud* 06-25-2007, 04:37 PM awww they don't have one where I am at. :( (bookcrossing) |
