I liked this response a lot: All those rusting out, closed, GM plants could easily be retooled to make the MRAPs needed and put Americans back to work if the Bush Admin. cared enough to take this war seriously and ask the country to take it seriously also as we did in WW II. Less than 1/2 of 1% of the population is fighting and dying for this mistake while the rest of us go on our merry way and our debt to China grows (can't raise those taxes!- people might notice we're at war).
