MLA?? WTH?

If what I just did is what you were asking, when you click on the multiquote button in someone's post, the (+) on the multiquote button turns into (-). If you didn't mean to choose that post, click it again and the (-) becomes a (+) again, and that particular quote is removed from your reply. You click this button on all of the posts you want to quote (I don't know if there's a max) and then when you're ready, click the post reply button. Then all of the posts you selected to quote should ALREADY be in your reply. Then you're free to highlight the parts you liked, delete everything but what you liked (as long as you keep the code in there, which is in [brackets].) You can also, obviously, add your own replies to each, or one reply to them all.

When you try to multi-quote, it only shows up if after you select the posts you want, you hit the "post reply" button at the bottom. They won't post if you use the quick reply box.

Good question. I have been wondering that for a long time.

Good explanation.

I think I do too.

When you try to multi-quote, it only shows up if after you select the posts you want, you hit the "post reply" button at the bottom. They won't post if you use the quick reply box.

Thanks for the tip.

Make sure you're clicking the blue POST REPLY button, NOT the little white Post Quick Reply button. The post reply button is above the quick reply typing box, where the ads are, on the left hand side (it's big and blue, lol) THEN, already in the reply box (the window will completely change to a typing screen, emoticons, etc) will be the quotes you selected.
