Are there any other photographers on the board? Either for fun or more serious?

If so:
What equipment do you have?
How long have you been doing it?
How serious are you about it?
Do you have any of your photos online?
If so, what's the link to your album?

Just wondering! I love looking at other people's photos!

Wicked and troublemaker... both photographers. Should've known. :P

I like your site. Very nice. I LOVE the transition effects you have between the photos when they load in the gallery. Also, I am especially digging your artistic set on there. I love people pictures but I am way more into art photography, especially conceptual pieces. Oh, and BTW, EternaBella Photography is an awesome name!

I forgot to answer my own questions in the original post. Dar. LOL.

I have been into photography most of my life. I have had a camera since I was a child, but didn't get my first SLR until I was a junior in high school 12 years ago. I have been serious about photography for about 5 years. Right now I have a Canon 20D with three lenses, my macro, my portrait, and my long range. I don't want to have a studio or anything, but I do eventually want to work freelance and have a gallery exhibit. I have sold prints of my photos and I have been featured on a few photo sites and on Yahoo. Nothing spectacular but slowly I will get there if it kills me. LOL.

I am in the middle of rebuilding my website, but I do have an active flickr account up right now.

I was taking pictures for a company for about 2 years but I just quit because of time issues. It wasn't real photography, mostly just party pictures and graduation stuff. I think I got more beer spilled on me than anything else :giggle.

I just got a Nikon D50 for christmas this year! I've been working on taking pictures in my free time but right now it is just a hobby. I hope to learn more about it though...I'd love to be able to showcase work one day.

I have a Cannon Powershot Pro1. I tried the "professional" photographer thing via a photo lab class. I wasn't as into it as I was in highschool. I have the eye, but not the heart to keep up with it.

It is hard to keep the motivation going sometimes...

I got a Canon XTi for Christmas and have been playing around with it. I'm very interested in photography, but it's just a hobby for me. Obviously I'd like to develop my technique or whatever, but that comes with time and practice... two things I'm short on right now ;) As for lens- I dunno what I have or what to call them. One is the standard 18-55mm that came with it and the other I believe is considered to be long range. I just got the photoshop suite... I browse the internet for tutorials and bought the materials to make a homemade light box (haven't done it yet though).

I posted somewhere else on the site that I remembered you- Trina- from another site because of your signature. I've always loved your photos! I'm going to add you as a friend on flickr so I can cyber stalk your skillz, yo :D

My flickr acct is here: http://www.flickr.com/photos/dorieo/ Most of it is just snapshots of us around the house but you can see where I've TRIED getting creative. :giggle

I have a Canon EOS Digital Rebel (the first edition because back then, that's all they had! :lol). I learned on a completely manual Minolta from the '70s. I've been doing photography for probably 11 or so years now. Started when I was about 10 years old through 4-H. I have had several photographer/artist jobs as internships, but I'm not pursuing my degree in it. I'd still love to do it professionally someday, but I don't know where it will lead me. Right now I just don't have to space to have a studio or any kind of good studio set-up.

I've gone from shooting primarily still life and nature shots, to doing self-portraits, LOTS of Photoshop work, and also my big thing starting about 4 years ago was photographing bands in concert. That is my favorite. I've done shots for about 15 different bands now.

I have a Cannon digital Rebel camera and "play" with it. I don't have a website or anything since I am still in the playing part of it, but here are a few I have taken of my daughter. I need to start playing again. Once my daughter got mobile I ran out of time to "play".

What equipment do you have?

I don't have anything special. I just have a digital camera...that's about it. It's 7.2 mp 'n' 10 optical zoom.

How long have you been doing it?

I've been doing this for about 3-4 years. So I just started out. I really started getting into this when I was yearbook and then I just fell in love with it.

How serious are you about it?

I'm debating if it's something that I want to do it as a career or just as a hobby.

Do you have any of your photos online?

yes I sure do.

If so, what's the link to your album?

Me too! I have always been a picture taker but yearbook in high school is what really got me interested in doing more than taking pictures on vacation. LOL.

I have a Nikon D50 and a Nikon D200 which is now my primary camera. The lenses I use most are my 50mm 1.4, my 18-200mm, and my 18-55mm. I have always loved taking photos but just started really getting into it and trying to take a more professional route with it about 2 years ago.

I just recently got into photography. I am extremely amateur - I have never taken a class or anything, just learning as I go along. I have a Sony Cybershot digital camera. It is pretty decent for only $300, but I bought a year and a half ago and I am just amazed at how much more advanced the new ones seem to be. I think next year when I get my tax return I might have to splurge on a new one. I like to take pictures of people and animals more than anything. I go crazy at the zoo! I am also somewhat of an artist so a lot of my photos become the basis for drawings and paintings. My latest obsession is photo-editing, I just downloaded a free program called PaintNET (very similar to photoshop) and have been tinkering with it constantly for the past couple days.
