How old were your kids when you left them with a parent/ sitter for a few days? How did they act?

Long story short, we've had some major issues with our travel agent & my mom can no longer come with us on our trip this week, so we're leaving DD with her & DH & I going alone. I completely trust my mom (she has 4 kids & 8 grandkids) but I'm worried about how DD is going to take being away from us for a couple days. (The most I've been away from her is for a 10 hour shift at work)

if your DD has a good relationship with her grandma and likes her, don't worry too much about it :D

they're going camping. I'm sad that I can't be there for her first camping experience ... although it will be in a motorhome so it's not real camping :)

I can't answer the question because my daughter has never been left with my parents, the in-laws, or a sitter for a few days because of where we live.
