I decided for the fun of it last week to order the Intelligender sex test. It was cheap enough to blow the money on and in a few months we will see if it was right. It said girl! Both hubby and I both have the intuition that is what we are having... has anyone had any experience with this test? They claim to be 94% accurate.

nah, we didn't see the point in spending $30. i figured i could wait until 16 weeks when i had my u/s.

hope it's right for you guys, though!

I really did it as an experiment... I have a huge scientific side to me and am always curious if this kind of test would work... hubby laughed when I told him what I had done... :lol

I don't see a point to those unless they say "GUARANTEED RESULTS!"
I'd rather spend the money on baby necessities...
Hope the results are right for you.

Believe me there will be no shortage of baby necessities and extras. I was just curious as to if anyone had done it on this board. I know a lot of people that have and it is different than a drano test. I know of one test on the market that several friends have paid for and much to the dissapointment of $250, gave them an inaccurate result. I figured for $35... what is there to be lost... see if it matches the ultrasound when the time comes. :)

Never used anything like that. I figured it had a 50% chance of being right :giggle So I just never bothered. Its all really a guessing game. And you never know for sure until birth. Even ultrasounds can be wrong. Although both my u/s were totally right I still had that fear towards the end of my pregnancy that what if it was wrong. And with my son we had pics of his winkie :lol SO I knew it wasnt wrong but still. Always that slim chance

Good luck tho. Hope your expierement goes well

From what I've heard the test is nothing more than a pH test - slightly acidic = girl, alkali = boy. There's absolutely no scientific research to suggest that this is an accurate way to predict the baby's gender (the only test that yeilds 90+ accuracy is a DNA test performed on the foetus).

Personally, I'd prefer to spend the money on a baby blanket or something, but I guess it's a bit harmless fun if you're into that kind of thing.
