:jump4joy I've been wanting to move Sy up from the infant seat to a convertible for awhile but was waiting till we had some extra money. Originally I was going to get a Britax but I just couldn't spend that much money on a carseat. I know they are supposed to be the best on the market but ultimately in 9 yrs of having kids and 4 serious accidents with my kids in carseats with me I have never once had an issue with a less expensive seat. So I started out with the Eddie Bauer 3-in-1 Convertible seat http://www.toysrus.com/product/index.jsp?productId=2580981&cp=2255983.2256187.2256196&parentPage=family
I had it for a total of 5 days and absolutely HATED it :madwife the thing was absolutely horrible. The strap inbetween the legs was super short, I was always pinching Sylas's things, and the straps were hard as hell to tighten or loosen. I took it back and walked away with the Evenflo Triumph Premiere http://www.toysrus.com/product/index.jsp?productId=2401293&cp=2255983.2256187.2256196&cp=2255983.2256187&fbn=Brand+Name+Secondary%7CEvenflo&f=PAD%2FBrand+Name+Secondary%2FEvenflo&fbc=1&categoryId=2256196&parentPage=search
I've had it only for 2 days and Im already in love with it. The thing is sooo much easier to use and he just loves it. He sits in it and talks away while the other one he would just cry and cry. The funny thing is I actually wanted this one to start off with but ended up going with the Eddie Bauer one just because of the stupid adjustable head rest :duh :gaah
