View Full Version : First time for everything
Caimbrie 12-08-2005, 12:15 PM Last night my husband, the kids and I were at Walmart picking up some milk and a few other small things and this woman (she was very nicely dressed carrying a clip board talking to an employee.. I assume she was a Dm or something.. or doing some kind of inspection) She got all excited and said "I have to tough your belly!" She didn't give me time to say ok.. or no.. and she did... but the funny thing is it just made me laugh because of all my pregnancies no one in public has EVER tried touching my belly.. then she told me how cute I am ect...
I told my husband that was the first time ever and he said because people are scared of me.. he says I have "little person syndrom" lmao
Kaymara 12-08-2005, 12:21 PM :hehe I used to have people do that to me ALLLL the time. I am short with no torso and my belly was HUGE!! I went to Olive garden 1 night with some neighbors and the waitress proceeds to rub my belly. Funny thing is since I was sitting, huge belly etc she wasn't rubbing my belly. SHe was rubbing my breasts :lmao I was gonna say something but thought nah I will be nice :hehe

froglove 12-08-2005, 12:37 PM :lmao :lmao Thats funny. The SAME thing sorta happened to me last night. Dh and I went to IHOP for dinner and our waitress that sat us came up to me and touched my belly, she didnt give me time to say anything either. Then she kept going on and on and on about this and that. BUT she was extremely nice about it.
IT too was my first belly rub by some complete stranger!!!
:lmao :lmao :lmao Oh the attention we get while preggo
Rachael 12-08-2005, 12:39 PM When I was pregnant with Erik I had strangers do the same, I didnt mind. :lmao
Caimbrie 12-08-2005, 12:47 PM Y know.. it may not have been the first time ever.. but it was definately the first time this pregnancy lol I just don't remember ....
I get a ton of attention from being pregnant people are always saying something to me. Hell I get a ton because of my kids too... people think my kids are so cute lol
RockstarMom 12-08-2005, 01:25 PM I have NEVER had a stranger come up to me and rub my belly (or boobies) when I was pregnant. THANK GAWD!!! I don't like anyone but my kids and hubby touching me when I am preggers. Even they sometimes get on my nerves!! :hehe
Potatocup 12-08-2005, 02:09 PM that is exactly what i fear. i hate strangers touching me! i'd run away.

Kaymara 12-08-2005, 03:40 PM I probably woulda said something but I know it was an honest mistake. I am so short. We went to Taco bell 1 day and Rod was behind me as we were ordering. He wrapped his arms around and started to rub my belly but he was also rubbing the boobs. Lady got a funky look on her face :hehe
I didn't mind people I KNEW rubbing my belly but I was weirded out by strangers. I am not a touchy feeling person like that so it used to kinda annoy me but I knew WHY so I'd smile and just sit there
Caimbrie 12-08-2005, 04:16 PM I am very short but I am lucky enough that there is a distinct difference between my boobs and my belly lol So no boob rubbing from strangers here haha
MichelleB 12-09-2005, 10:04 AM I didn't mind people I KNEW rubbing my belly but I was weirded out by strangers. I am not a touchy feeling person like that so it used to kinda annoy me but I knew WHY so I'd smile and just sit there
I was the same way. But I didn't mind it as much as I did people touching Taylor when she was small!
airyn1 12-09-2005, 02:20 PM I have never had anyone except Joe rub my my belly while I'm pregnant. It's actually getting a little annoying already with him. He will just walk up to me out of no where and start rubbing my belly. With Mara I always just got dirty looks because I was 18 and looked about 13. I would always get these old ladies telling me that I was too young to be having a baby. I would always tell them that my husband thought the same thing. It got so annoying that I just started blurting out that I was f'ing married at them.
mamaoftwins+1 12-09-2005, 02:28 PM oh boy when i was pregnant with the twins i couldnt go anywhere without people touching my belly! it was huge:wow i was bumpin in to people with my belly dh said i neded a licsen for it. it was noticable that there was more then one in there so i would always get stoped and people would rub it and ask all kinds of questions. you could see them fighting through my shirt. it was weird. i got used to it after a while. i will post a pic of my twin belly later
Laurie119 12-09-2005, 02:31 PM I used to have people come up to me and do it, but I would get totally skeeved by it. I have a very definite personal space, and unless I know you well, I don't want you to touch me.......LOL.
mamaoftwins+1 12-09-2005, 03:00 PM i posted my twin belly pic in the photo album if ya wanna see it
