Does anyone play? I love this game, my husband got me into it while I was pregnant. I'm hooked, I have so much custom content. And the graphics on this one is AMAZING! He upgraded our game card while home on leave, now it doesn't take two billions years for it to load.

I like to make my own. I have different neighborhoods for different things too. One is for the slutty sims, one is for when I just need to kill some off, one is for really playing and I have people I know in it, and I can't remember the others right now.

I love the sims2 though :D I got my mom and sister hooked, and my MIL is the one who made me hooked on Sims1. I wish it was so easy to clean your house IRL though. I find it funny that I play that game and go around making my character clean stuff, yet I'm sitting in a room that needs to be vacuumed and my desk is a wreck. :giggle

I have the business x-pak, and my sis has nightlife that she loves but wants business too. I love making restaurants, they're really fun to play in because you have all the different jobs etc unlike most of the other businesses.

I have nitelife, university,pets and seasons. I hope to get some of the mini expansions soon.

I haven't really explored Open For Business. I loved having the makeover chair for a while, but then it got old. Then I had one chick open a candle shop. That got old. Maybe I'll try a restaurant!

You should try a bakery, it's so much more fun. You just have to keep the displays stocked. Just hire two sims with lots of cooking skills.

I had to start all over again though because the game was having problems :( Turns out it was a problem between the video card drivers and the game so I had to dump all my stuff for nothing! I haven't played a lot since that happened because I haven't had time (pcs'ing and all) and I'm paranoid about the game still having video card conflicts.

I have them as well, I'm just missing the Season's expansion. My stupid computer won't run the game though *shakes fist at ancient machine*.

It sucked but I'll survive! I know that Maxis/EA games knows about the conflict and they were trying to fix it. Hopefully they will have a fix when I get my computer up and running in Monterey. Then I'll be playing more often! If they haven't fixed it then I'm going to be close to their headquarters and might see if I can volunteer my comp to find out what is wrong.

My husband LOVEs world warcraft. When he first got the game I would complain because practically all weekend he'd camp out on the couch and wouldn't move except to use the bathroom. And I would watch him play sometimes, his game lagged like crazy.
He upgraded our game card and some other stuff. My sims game moves fast. But it took forever at the custome PC place. 2 hours of having to entertain baby in the car was actually well worth it.

It runs slow sometimes on my computer, I want to upgrade mine soon. Then it should run rather smoothly! WoW runs fine on my computer but the graphics aren't as intense on WoW.

I haven't looked as much at H&M stuff yet, I might get it just because. Some of the clothes look cute but it gives more options for your stores in OFB I believe.

Yea I think I might get it just because and the extras sound good. And perhaps the CC might be nice.
Before we upgraded the game card I couldn't see neighboring houses, now I can. The graphics are amazing.

Oh you'll love it. Depending on what you want to do with your sims will depedn on what expansion pack to start with. "Nightlife" it fun, your sims can have a car."Open for Business" is my favorite.

Hmmm, what's it like? Can you use custom content? Do your expansion packs show up on the site? How is it like interacting with real people's sims? Do people harass you, is there alot of drama? Hmm, online could be fun.

So I bought H&M yesterday. :sigh It's not that great. "some" clothes are ok. And there are some new shops, they remind me of the gap. But other than that there's just not much else. I don't think you can do runway in it. I still have to search thesims.com to see if you can. But hopefully there will be some recolors and things on mod.

I finally got it re-installed on DH's computer! I didn't get to play much though. If only I could get him off the computer and watching the kids for a little while.
Now I need to find my CD's with custom content...I know they're around here somewhere.

The Sims that they have online right now is the first version, not the second one...hopefully they'll put the Sims2 online soon.

I wish the game would run on my computer, but it's so low-spec that it even has problems running photoshop >_<

I was actually a beta tester for TSO way back when it came out (5-6 years ago). It was fun, but after it went live I stopped playing it. I had actually been debating playing again.

I'm paranoid about hacks and things messing up my game so I make sure things are clean before I download. But I really like the game as is and don't need a lot of custom stuff anyhow :D

I'm going to have to look those up...I've only ever used the Sims site and insimenator. I tried to download a Navy career path/uni for my guy and one worked but the other didn't. The career is kind of silly and the uniform doesn't look any different from the normal military career path.

Whenever I create a family on Sims2 I get an error message and it closes the game... anybody have any idea why????

I love SIMS 2! At first I didn't like it that much until I got used to it all. It's fun! I don't have a whole lot of stuff for it! I only bought the Open For Business expansion pack plus the Family Fun Stuff & Happy Holiday Stuff. I just might have to download some more stuff soon! :)

The guy didn't know squat and I ended up fixing it myself. They probably wouldn't have a clue what to do with it because it's a software issue. Computer doesn't need fixed, I'm rather sure it is an issue with the game and my video drivers.

Our computer crashed and I lost EVERYTHING I had....all the families, the custom content etc. I was so annoyed. I haven't put it back on the computer since because well I was just irritated.

Now that I have more free time maybe I'll reinstall it...haha

I understand it's annoying when something you really like doesn't work right. I had those issues with the first sims. Well the EA site is good for game help they could probably be pretty good for tech help too.

they have alot of asian, country, and Hawaiian style clothes, furniture, and a few other outdoor items
like kimonos, jewelery.
Its decent but I don't think its a must have unless you like that sort of thing.
