Hey Kara, how long is the housing wait in your neighborhood now?? That's the one we're going to request and I just want to get an estimate so I can tell the lady I work for when she needs to start looking for a new nanny and when I can ship my car, so it's there sometime not too long after I get there! steph, did you mean moanalua terrace or radford? we moved into radford last month for a 3 bedroom.

i think the wait for MT is 3-6 months but don't quote me on that. i don't have the links right now since i'm in oregon. last i knew the wait for radford was 12 months (although it's not taking that long) but i think it's all 3 rooms and up right now in that housing area.

Jo you should SEE how much the base has changed....new housing, they are putting up a miniature golf course on base with bumper boats, a car wash......

it really has changed alot since we moved here.

Amy~I heard that the bumper boats and miniature golf are opening up soon. I remember seeing the signs for all that plus the car wash before I left. I MISS IT SOOOOOO BAD! My girlfriend Danielle says that she drives by my house and always thinks it looks weird without "our stuff" there.

ps. you cant stay on base with your SO if your not married . . . but you guys can get a little apt. near by . . . some times in certain branches (i think) if your a bachlor you have to live on base for about a yr,i'm not to sure though it could have been a roumor i heard . . . . but if it is, you should take me with you so i can help you pay rent :)
