Do you ever wish you could do your wedding all over again? Or did you have the wedding you always dreamed of?

Yes and No... Ours was intimate only us and our kids, but we got no pics, because dd rewound our film. We paln to renew our vows on #10 which is next year, and do a nice family thing....

To be honest, DH and I went to the JP right before he left for basic, and then I just HAD to have a church ceremony when he come home on exodus 3 months later. We had a wonderful church ceremony, but after it was all said and done, I realized I would have been just as happy (and not as broke) if we had just left it at having a JP ceremony. That being said, if we ever plan to do a vow renewal ceremony, I want a LOT of time to plan it, because I think that's what would have made our ceremony better.

i never thought about renewing our vows.

My dad gave me a great tip (he has been divorced 2 times) and he said to re read our vows each year and keep in touch with them. It sounds simple but I think it honestly helps.

Ours wasn't exactly as we planned. We got legally married at a courthouse in Feb of 05 for order purposes, and planned a wedding in July. It was canceled 24 hours before it was supposed to happen due to a hurricane out of nowhere... it was on the beach. Great family and connections set up a different wedding for us, and it was great for what it was... but it wasn't our dream, what we had been planning and saving for.
So one day we will renew on the beach.

so do you celebrate on the day you were married or the day of the legal JP thing?

Yes, but only because we don't have any pictures. We decided to get married and within two days it happened and none of the pictures that were taken turned out.

i wish we could do it all over again, but not change a thing.. we loved our wedding day soooooo much, it was everything and more that we had imagined for ourselves, we jsut really want to have that experience again you know.

oh i would definately do it all over again. I want to be a princess for a day.

I never got to have my wedding. He deployed 9 days before it. My $1000 wedding dress is still hanging on a closet at my mother's, never worn. I might cry if I think about it anymore.

yes and no. our wedding was near perfect but there were some things that went wrong (our priest forgot to say you may kiss the bride, our dj fucked up, etc)

No, not at all. We had a great wedding and reception. We got married at the Larimore House in St Louis in an outdoor garden. The weather was beautiful. Our reception was on a RiverBoat. It was a blast!

I wouldn't change anything about it.

Our wedding was perfect for us. Small wedding with family and a few friends on a beach in Hawaii, and a reception back home for everyone else. I wouldn't change a thing, but I would love to just go back and relive it again.

The only thing I would change would be to have my family there. lol But that said, I loved my wedding eventhough it was small and just DH's family was there.

I had the wedding of my dreams.. Even though our budget was small.. I still incorporated all the things I wanted even if they were the cheaper versions LOL

Nope I never really wanted a big wedding with everyone looking at me lol. I loved how we got married in the court house then went to Iao Valley to take our pictures which our parents took. The only thing I would change would be to invite my dad... I didn't invite him because at the time we weren't getting along.
