My mom taught me how just to keep me busy. lol Aurora 06-20-2007, 01:11 AM I use to all the time...I miss having the time! Miss B Hav'n 06-20-2007, 01:26 AM I go in spurts. I haven't done a project in about a year but was just admiring a pattern the other day so who knows, lol. I'm the same - I haven't done any in the past few months but I expect I'll start up again soon. Britt 06-20-2007, 05:04 AM Yes but I haven't in years. :sadeyes Now I'm afraid because I have two frisky cats that will attack and steal my threads. My other cats back home were lazy and didn't care if I was playing with string. :lol Becca 06-20-2007, 07:01 AM I LOVE cross stitch!! I started a christmas stocking for DD when I was pregnant with her, worked on it for a year and put it down. IT'S ALMOST DONE :lol I just got burned out. I have to get busy though again because now I have to finish hers, and I have one for DH...and then (L) I will be needing to do another one. bookchick 06-21-2007, 09:09 AM I have been cross stitching since I was 8. I just finished this: http://www.subversivecrossstitch.com/kits/truthiness.htm And I am about 3/4 of the way done with this: http://www.stitchability.co.uk/dimensions-frederick.jpeg Mak327 09-12-2007, 12:04 PM Yes! I love it! School takes away from cross-stitching, but I still try to put some time towards it each day. THis past summer I did a few projects. Once being a welcome sign of Flip Flops, that is now in my entrance hall to my apartment framed. I'm debating between a few options for one to do for my boyfriend for when he gets back. HEIDI 09-12-2007, 12:11 PM I am learning... part of my self improvement while dh is gone! carol68134 09-12-2007, 02:30 PM I used to do it a lot before my daughter was born but now I just never have time. I like it, I'm the kind of person that always has to be doing something, can't just sit and watch TV, so it's a good hobby for me. Mak327 09-12-2007, 02:39 PM I like it, I'm the kind of person that always has to be doing something, can't just sit and watch TV, so it's a good hobby for me. I am the same way. I turn the TV on and have to be doing something else too. I'll cross stitch, watch tv, and be online all at the same time. It is fun. I just can't do it without something else going on. woodhilldesign 09-17-2007, 08:28 AM I always have to be doing something, can't sit still... I cross stitch the nascar cars, I have pics on my blog.. I have done so far the #20 and #38... |
