I want to get us a suite with a jacuzzi tub when matt comes home. We always go cheap on hotel rooms and I am damn tired of it. For once I want a nice room.

I have two options. A more economical room with a large garden tub (no jets) for 150-180ish with military discount or option number 2. We go all out and get the presidential suite with the jacuzzi tub for 499 plus tax :shock I know that is a lot of money to spend but its just us and its a special night. What do you think?

Db told me he's planning on getting me a 3-5 star hotel, ordering room service the whole time for maybe a week. He told me he knew thats where I would love to go. I think its so sweet of him.

No :( There is another city but they have even less. Then the next closest things are san antonio and pheonix at a mere 8 hours away :lol: I just hope the room is nice and the bed is soft :giggle

I'd get the cheaper room and use the extra money on maybe a couple's Spa day. DH and I talked about doing a spa/golf weekend together when he gets home from deployment.

If it were me, I'd get the cheaper room and save the money for when you move and get a suite there after you're all moved in. Moving is stressful for everyone and I think it would be fun to have a second night of luxury!

I got a jacuzzi room for us once and he didn't even get in it. Doing the nasty in hotel tubs kinda grosses me out anyway. I'd go for the cheaper room.

Have you checked into any of the B&Bs in El Paso or Las Cruces? A lot of times those will have Jacuzzi tubs too :yes

No I would not spend the money..I would rather spend it on something else. But I also have a two person jacuzzi tub in my bathroom that we have used TWICE in two years so it's not worth it to me.

They are about a 45 minute drive and I am not sure if he will be up for going that far away but I am going to check it out and ask him if he minds going to Lac Cruces. It can be like a little hunnymoon :lol That one room with the log bed....ooohhhhh..... That is the kind of bed I am going to have when we retire. I was suprised to see it in the room!

We wont be doing the "nasty" in the tub. We have a past with the bathtubs, we enjoy taking the bath together and relaxing and there is some making out :teehee ....no sex in water...uti anyone? No thanks! He said when he comes home he wants to soak in a bath, but our tub is too small, he looks like a cricket in it :lmao
