The first reports are in that DF's group has been "put in immediate harms way". I haven't heard from him but that is normal. Please ladies help me to stay strong. I am telling myself that everything is just fine and I have nothing to worry about, but some extra help through this first one would be appreciated. Thanks.

Mine is in the most dangerous area of baghdad. Just keep your chin up and hang in there. He is trained and with a group of guys that know what they are doing. If its his first time then he has other vets to learn from, if not then he has this handled. :) The vets tend to take the new guys under their wing.

I found out from the Army Times and from the military newspaper that is posted on base, but like you all said...it can always be wrong. This is his 2nd tour so he knows what he is doing. It's just always a shock the first time it hits so close to home. :tears
