I wish I had a lot LOL you should see some of the stashes over at diaper swappers one owman had enuogh diapers and things for her little girl that she could of opened a fully stocked CD store!

When we have kids we are definitely doing CDs. You said bottom bumpers are your fav for days, what have you found is best for nights?

depends on what kind of system and which brand of diaper you buy.
1 diaper can range from 5 bucks clear up to 55. <--- :scared However even after you build your "stash" you still break clear over 2-3 years of what you'd spend on disposables.

that's not too bad. I grew up babysitting for kids that used old fashioned cloth(pins and all) so I am not too against the idea, it would be convincing my husband.

very nice, I always wanted to do it, but thought it was too much money to start. I am glad you are doing it for you boys. It is awesome for the enviroment, also which is sometihng our family is beginning to get better at.

So far I ahve only spent around $200 I add to my stash a little bit every month.

Do you like the bumkins?
YES I do like the Bumkins it is an AIO BUT even though the insert is sewn ONTO the diaper it is not sewn all the way into it so you sort of flip it inside out when washing/drying. It drys JUST as fast as my prefolds.

Plus I LOVE the Dr. Seuss print. Sultana at Simple Wonders was great when I ordered it she sent me a bumkins bib with my order as a freebie & pay pal under charged me on a fleece cover and she didn't make me pay the differance.

For a night time diaper I either use a sherpa fitted with the deluxe fleece cover or I am liking the JDB PUL with a fleece doubler & a hemp doubler, or I will stuff a pocket diaper. No leaks with any one of those. My DS is a very heavy nighttime wetter so when he wakes up for his middle of the night feeding I change him though. I don't think I would HAVE to but I don't like the thought of him sitting in a massive amount of pee all night.

We did CD with our DD#2 because she was allergic to the stuff in disposibles and got HORRIBLE rashes. We kept all the CD's and we used them for drying /waxing our cars. Eventually we have thrown them out 8 years later...I think I still have one or two around.

I like the ducky ones, and the ones that look like they snap in the front. I dont know though, I guess until I use one, I wont know what I like.
