first advice, don't watch the news. it just makes you more worried and depressed. so stay away from the news. Second try and do something new that might take your mind off what you are stressing about. like make a scrapbook of you two or learn how to knit. do something that is going to help you pass the time and destress yourself.. I know it's hard especially the first time out. :hugs

Definitely don't watch the news. I haven't watched regular news in almsot 3 years! Force yourself to do things, go out, make appointments to get pedicures, etc something to force you out. This is the time to get anew hobby, get in shape, whatever you choose! If you can't get out of this funk within the next few weeks, talk to your doctor because you may need some meds to help you over this depression. It's rough, but it does get a bit easier because you get used to them being gone :hugs

If you have any family or friends near by, spend time with them. I find socializing and taking care of my baby girl really helps get me through. And yes hobbies are very very good. When he first deployed the news would upset me too. The other ladies are right, don't watch the news. Hope you start to feel better soon.
