View Full Version : Do you ever...
Jennygirl 06-24-2007, 07:57 PM Sleep else where during the night so that you dont keep your DH up at night.
DH has to get up at 0250 in the AM and today, both my hips hurt and Ive been in the bathroom all day.
Callie 06-24-2007, 09:09 PM I did especially when I couldn't sleep because I felt like I couldn't breathe. I also had to get up to go to the bathroom at least 10 times a night.
Jennygirl 06-24-2007, 09:13 PM I do it so I dont keep him up, he tells me not to but when he has to get up early then it makes him cranky
Amanda 06-24-2007, 10:07 PM nope i stay in the bed with him :) I couldn't take sleeping somewhere else
MichelleB 06-24-2007, 10:07 PM When I was pregnant, NO. He had to deal with me :lol
But once Taylor was born I slept in her room on and off for several months since he had to be up so early for work.
goldilockz 06-25-2007, 12:24 AM When I had the deathplague cough a few months ago, there were a couple of nights where I had a fever of 103, was heating up the whole bed, and couldn't stop coughing. I chose to sleep on the couch so he could sleep better.
I woke up to this sad little puppydog face he was making. He thought HE kept ME awake :giggle Silly boy.
Nope. He will have to put up with me, just like he will put up with helping with the baby at night. He did this to me too, I didnt do it alone :lol

DoublEE's Momma 06-25-2007, 01:35 AM Nope, I sleep in the comfy bed...hehe. Usually my movements don't wake him up, but if they did I'm sure if he had to get up EARLY EARLY in the am he'd pull out the hide-a-bed sofa and sleep...haha.
Jennygirl 06-25-2007, 06:37 AM i ended up getting up at 1130 because i had tummy pain and hip pain...I was up twice in 20 minutes.
But i slept better on the couch, but dont tell him, he was upset I moved...
AshleyJ 06-25-2007, 07:31 AM I sleep w/ my husband, but he's been gone a lot throughout this pregnancy so I have had some nights to myself (like last night) and usu sleep much better.
kittycat915 06-25-2007, 07:36 AM well, when the dh has to work, he gets up at 0330, i will fall asleep on the couch. i like to fall asleep with the tv on, he doesn't. :neutral
Jennygirl 06-25-2007, 09:27 AM I would have stayed in bed had he not had to get up at 240...But I always try to tell him you arent as cranky when you have to get up early and if im having a bad night I sleep elsewhere.
girl20racer 06-25-2007, 09:29 AM awwwww - I do if he snores a lot.. LOL
Amanda 06-25-2007, 09:58 AM I agree he did this to me :lol so he sticks it out with me :P
Jennygirl 06-25-2007, 10:00 AM Oh I agree, but like I said had he not gotten home at 630 and had to get up at 240 i would have stayed in bed, and actually i slept better on the couch LOL
world~of~mirth 06-25-2007, 12:06 PM I never did when I was preggers. The only time we didn't sleep together while we were in the same house was when I was pregnant and he was super sick.
define 06-26-2007, 03:49 AM No but I do come out to the living room until I'm tired enough to sleep.
luvmysailor81904 06-26-2007, 04:08 AM Nope. He will have to put up with me, just like he will put up with helping with the baby at night. He did this to me too, I didnt do it alone :lol
lol! Perfectly said! When I was preggo he'd shove all the pillows in my back/front/all over and made sure all of the fans were on and my feet were covered (didn't have A/C at the time and only my feet got cold) and then he put his hoodie on and bundled up in the comforter! He was there the whole time...whether he wanted to or not :P :)
