Pretty soon I'll be visiting this part of SOS. At my last meeting they said when DH will be leaving :(. After I freaked out I realized that I'm a lot happier knowing the date now instead of later down the road. Did any of you find out with some time to prepare? Did you prefer to not know untill the month time frame came? I know crazy question but some women are like that.

I know the date they are saying DH is deploying, and it's giving me plenty of time to prepare, and I like knowing. However, when FIL deployed in January, they changed the date SO many times, so I'm kind of thinking that even though they have given a date, I should treat it as a time frame.

I knew from the day we started dating when DB would be deploying- it was deffinatly easier knowing when it was happening. Of course it also changed three times but it was within a week. It helped 'cause I could take a few days off work to say bye :(

I like know exactly when he is leaving. That way I have time to say goodbye and we can do fun stuff that we might not do otherwise. I also like knowing when he is getting extended... you know the second they know... not months later... grrr.
