Do you ladies have a certain gift that you like to give at baby showers? Not necessarily the exact same thing, but the same idea for all of them?
Personally, I always get a plastic box and fill it with baby tylenol, baby ibuprofen, gas drops, a small packet of sanitizing wipes, and other pharmacy related items. I started doing this after I went to a streak of baby showers, and at the last one someone gave the mom this and all the other moms started talking about how they never realized they should get that stuff until they needed it.
Anyway, what sort of stuff do you get?

yep me too! I usually get a basket with liner and fill it with those kinds of things and maybe a toy, teether, and blanket. Baby soap and lotion, travel wipes.

Yep, I sure do.. it usually consists of items that new mom's often forget. Things like teether toys, toy keys (a MUST have..LOL) a travel baby wipe holder, changing pad and onesies and socks. (you can never have enough onesies and socks!)

Gift cards or cash..I can never go wrong...Saves the other person from having to take back something they didn't like..

I also get something and fill it with random items...I do that for wedding showers too!

i like to give diapers, blankets, burp clothes and an outfit.

USually several packs of diapers, wipes, a travel case for wipes and a travel changing pad.

Diaper cakes with various items or a gift basket.

I like to give a gift bag full of not so well known gadgets I've heard good reviews from other moms about that new (and older) moms may have not heard of. Like lanolin wipes, pacifier keepers that come with a nipper cover to keep the nipple clean when not in use or in the diaper bag, electric formula mixer, sturdy nipple basket for the dishwasher (I HATE the flimsy ones you find most places), podee system, etc....And I usually throw in a tube of lanolin because it's expensive and good for diaper rashes if they choose not to BF.

Usually diapers, wipes (can never have enough) bath stuff, tylenol, nail clippers. all the practical things you don't think about until you need them.

I usually do something different for each person. I don't have a certain gift persay, but usually some diapers to go with whatever else I may buy
