To tell people you were pregnant? In our wardroom we have 1 couple who just had a baby and two more due very soon....so we decided to wait to tell our friends because we don't want to steal anyone's thunder, but we'll tell our parents right away.

We waited til after the first three months to tell everyone (well tried lol) but his parents knew almost from the beginning. Good luck.

I didn't wait the first time around. but with the other pregnancies i waited until after three months to tell everyone. including parents. easy to keep secrets when you live 1200 miles away. :D

I didn't wait.. to TELL people, I waited the first 3mos out until i got in the "safe" zone and started my shopping though

I didn't wait, but it was more like I couldn't wait to tell everyone. They all knew we were trying and I got asked every month anyways. Plus my family really needed the good news at the time.

i told y'all and my grandma as soon as i found out. we told family around 5 weeks when he got back home

I told my Mom the first day that I found out and begged her not to tell anyone because we were going to wait 3 months, but the next day she called and said I hope you don't mind I told the girls at work, and Granny, and my aunts, and my step dad's parents. So you see how that worked out.

With my first I didn't know I was pregnant until I was about 9 weeks along so we told everybody right after my 1st OB visit at 9 weeks.

With my second I found out I was pregnant when I was only 5 weeks along. I told my friends right away but we didn't tell any family until I was almost 5 months along and we were in town visiting. We even waited a day while we were there to see if anybody would guess since I was just starting to show. Nobody guessed so I had to tell them :lol

I told everyone right away. My dh was actually the last one to know cuz he was at work. I drove home yelling it out the window lol

I waited until 3 months along to tell friends & family with all pregnancies. I'm glad I did b/c I had a miscarriage and I was glad I didn't have to tell everybody.

We are not preggos yet, but have discussed waiting to tell friends, but will for sure tell family before three month mark.

I didn't have a choice but to tell. I was high risk so I had to be seen right away and it was a small town, the whole clinic new why I was there and word got out. So instead of people stealing my thunder for me I proudly announced myself. :)

We told everyone right away... we were too excited!

I told folks, then miscarried. My sister waited till she was in the 3 month safe zone. For me, I'd tell my parents and grandparents when I find out because if I lose another one I'll be all bummed and stuff and if I don't tell them they won't know why and probably won't be supportive. My dad was SUPER supportive when I miscarried. I wouldn't buy anything until I was in the safe period, but I'd go ahead and share the news.

The way I told them was "Hey dad, you know how you always say I'm very special, well you're right. Because you know how only a tiny percentage of people get pregnant even when using condoms...?" He got a laugh out of it.

NOPE, we told right away. we figured that even IF something were to happen with the pregnancy, we'd want the love and support of our friends. our daughters (at the time ages 3and 4), were told after 12 weeks.

We were waiting for 2 more days after I tested to test again then if it was still positive we were going to tell everyone..but I told my mom earlyer and just told her to not tell anyone..lol

We were gonna wait until we went on leave to tell everyone in person, but I couldn't keep the secret and told everyone. I waited a couple days before I spilled tho.

Same here! :hystericlaugh I wanted to wait until the 3 month mark, but we were on the phone before we even stepped into the parking lot at the clinic!!! :giggle
