I can honestly say I never had those kind of fears with my first. I know most people do though.

I worried from day one, and it doesn't stop when you have them. My faith helped me a lot, but I know that isn't something everyone shares. I just prayed, and prayed, and prayed some more :lol

You just have to know that everything happens for a reason, and learn to trust your instincts. YOU KNOW BEST for your child :)

I think I was more anxious to meet her, Terrified of what type of mother I would be.. would I be good enough.. did I have it in me? Is she going to come out healthy? I prayed soooo much during my pregnancy. I wasn't necessarily scared about the labor and delivery part, just the part of becoming a mother and life changing it would be/ is... and how I would do with it. But we ALL have the instinct in us to be great mother's. You're gonna be fine dear, but it's all 100% normal :hugs

I worried the whole time and it has only intensified after she was born. I mean I worried that she wouldn't be healthy, or that I wouldn't know what to do. I turned into a complete worry wort while I was preggo. And since she has been born I worry about every rash, cry, everything, but usually it is nothing. You will be fine. Almost every mother has these fears. It's normal. :hugs if you need to talk I am here

I was like that with DD, and now being preggo with my second I worry if I can handle two.

DD was very planned, and I still had moments when I felt nervous, scared and anxious. Some of that's normal. If you're feeling that way all the time though, I'd consider bringing it up with my OB.

Trust me, I was never around kids, wasn't too good with kids either (just made me nervous).. especially babies, and I am doing just fine with mine. It's just your instinct! You're gonna be great :) :tigger

I agree. Your insincts will kick in and you will be fine, and if it doesn't all get done then oh well. My house used to be perfect and spotless now TRY to clean at least once a week. I have laundry that needs folding, dishes that need to be put away, a I really need to vaccum. I know that it will get done just not as soon as I want it to be.
