Does anyone else crave ice all the time? Or is it just me? :nutts

Oh, I did when I was pregnant with my daughter. I could not get enough of the ice from Sonic! (I've since been told that it has something to do with your body actually needing a nutrient that for the life of me, I can't remember!)

I use to eat it all the time and then chris said it was annoying to hear so I layed off of it for a while and now I dont really like it anymore.

I think if I remember correctly craving ice is a lack of iron in your body. I THINK dont quote me on it though!

I craved when I was pregnant with my son.

Craving ice is a sign of anemia, but not everyone who craves ice is anemic (I am though).

I know anemia happens more often during pregnancy though...maybe that's why. :shrug

I'm sitting here crunching a big 'ol cup of ice from Sonic and LOVING it! :mrgreen

I miss sonic!! I realy hate living in the Bay area (monterey) of Cali we have NOTHING out here!!

When I was pregnant with Jacob I craved crushed ice I would fill ah uge glass full and then pour some lemonade in and just chew away.

Thats what it is. When I was pregnant I was craving it all the time. Alittle after that the Dr asked me if I was. I thought it was weird she was asking so when I told her yes she told me my blood test showed I was anemic(sp) and one of the signs other than being tired was craving ice.

That's right. I craved ice like you wouldn't believe and I was very anemic with my second and third pregnancy.

ooooh yes girl! when i was pregnant with my daughter i would go to sonic every other day and buy one of their 10 lb bags of crushed ice and eat it by the bowl! :lol now...i still like a good cup of crushed ice every now and then

With my last I ate so much ice my hubby thought I was odd.

My dh thought I was crazy when I was preggers with Cam because I lived for crushed ice! I told him I wanted to go into labor so I could have all the ice I wanted and a waitor (nurse) to bring it to me! :lol Someone told me about the anemic thing too, and I turned out to be so I'm guessing that's a good indicator since it looks like a lot of others had the same thing.

Kinda off topic, but you guys are all making me want some Sonic really bad! And the closest one to me is like 45 mins to an hour away with no traffic. Darn it! :teehee
