I buy books pertaining to what I am wanting to make. They have the patterns and pictures of the finished product. You can find them at Walmart, Michael's, and other craft stores. I don't know about any web sites at this point. It's easier for me to work from a book that I can keep track of where I am on my pattern. I suppose there could be patterns you could print out though.

:thinking wal-mart & joann's crafts/fabric. also used bookstores (sometimes they've got handy little notes someone's made) & the library are pretty nice if you want to go super-thrifty. i've never used websites--too many typos.

I just bought a crocheting book to learn how to *it's called: I can't believe I'm crocheting* and it has patterns in the back for a few things and I got it at Walmart....I've made 2 blankets, working on the third, and then I've also just created a pattern out of my head for baby booties.

I get them out of my imagination for 90% of what I make.
