How many deployments have you been through with your SO?

If not deployments, have you gone through any underways or short trips out?

I have been through one 6 month deployment and countless underways and short trips out with him. His ship is leaving soon for another deployment but he's not going on it because we're PCSing.

I have been through two 6 month cruises and many "little" underways.... anywhere from two weeks to 2 months

I'm going through my first deployment now... only 2 more months to go!!

I am going through my first 7 month deployment now. And have been through lots of little underways!

I've been through 2 1 yr tours, and several other separations of 2-4 weeks.

We haven't gone through a deployment yet. I think we have been very lucky, but he's only been on sea duty for 2 years and he was on a broke ass ship :lol

But we've done LOTS of underways and stuff, anywhere from 3 days to 1 month. With the JFK they were really close together though. There for a while it was going out all the time.

I guess we'll see what his new command has in store.

We are almost finished with our first deployment... its been over a year including his predeployment training in another state......

we just got done with his first short trip out - only 5 days. in a week he goes out for 6 weeks, which will be the longest thus far. he doesn't have his first deplyment til march, or so they say now...

I am going through my 2nd 7 month deployment.. I thank god I have kids that keep my busy.. I would go crazy with out them!! We have been through TOO MANY Feild ops. anywere from a week to a month. I just cant wait for him to be back in my arms and my bed :kissy:mrgreen

We are going through a first deployment now. He has been stationed overseas for 7 months before this deployment.

4 deployments, 2 combat tours 1 year + and I wont even count field time.

Working on the first deployment right now. Hopefully it will be our first and our last since he gets out next Sept.

i have gone through 1 deployment and tons of schools and short trips. i am almost done with one!!! i should see df in 4 ish days!!!

2 deployments and a ton of underways.

I'm currently surviving my first deployment with my db. This is his second though. They are trying to talk him into coming home for a month, and shipping him back out - but he told them no. Because he's already volenteered for two. And he get's out in January. So.

Well besides the fact that for most of our relationship we have been oceans apart..

Since I've known him he's been on a 5 month trip to the field..

And not soon after- a 12 month deployment to the middle east.

He's been deployed much more than that though- just before I was around.

And as for short trips- they have been countless.

Also- he would be leaving in 15 days for a 3 month trip to the field and a 15 month deployment in November- but thankfully we are PCSing so we miss those ones. I'm sure we will go through all that and much more in Ft Hood.

This is my third 6 month deployment. We have also done two 3 month underways and countless other little work ups.

He is never home. Lately we get to see him every other weekend. Next year he leaves for his 3rd deployment with the same ship.

No deployments here! He has left me twice for 2 weeks and now being in Lemoore this is the longest we have been apart!

This is our first deployment- almost halfway through :xfingers. We did long distance though until right before he left so I didn't even really notice his three weeks of training except not talking everyday.

My dh did a year in korea right out of AIT and is on his 2nd tour in Iraq right now

I have been through one 6 monther...about to start my second 6 (hopefully) monther...and been through about 3 work ups.

4 deployments, 1 six month school, too many work-ups.

He's been gone for 3 months for training. And then in the next month we'll start our first year long (talking longer) deployment. :sigh:worry

This is our first six month deployment and we just hit our halfway mark today! :happydance We've been through many underways and short trips out.

This is our first deployment together and are 3 months into the 15 months.Before then we were only apart for 2 weeks of him in the field because the army decided to skip the month long training they were suppose to have.I went through a 10 month deployment with an ex so this second time around is going by smoother.

I've done 2 12 month tours to Iraq and soon to be a third in the next few months. Can't count how many times he's been gone this year for schools and field time.

this is our first 7 month deployment together, we were broken up for his first 7 month deployment, although i did send him cards then...

he will be home next month!!! :D

It's my first deployment with my SO 12months. It's his 2nd deployment.

I'm not going to include dets less than a month.

3 Pacs with all the work ups included
3 months in Washington
3 months in Japan
4 months in Virginia

One 7 monther and about to start our 3rd set of work-ups.

I have gone through one 6 month deployment. My second 6 month deployment is coming right up. I have gone through tons of little trips.

We've been through 7 six month deployments, many 3-4 month deployments, and too many underways in his years on submarines.

We are currently doing our first 6 month deployment in 12 years of being in the Navy. We have done LOTs of underways and workups, but never an actual 6 month deployment.

I am counting down the days until this is over as well!

We have been through a 7 month deployment and a 3 month deployment. And a lot of 1 -5 week dets.

We have had two 8 month deployments, a year seperation between Basic, AIT and command sponsorship to Germany, a 3 month mission, and are getting ready for a 4 month mission in a few weeks.

This is my first 7 month deployment with db and its almost over! This is db 2nd 7 month deployment though. I have also been through a month and a half underway and a 3 week underway.

No deployments, but we are not together for 6 months at a time due to serious distance ((New York - Hawaii)) But he just left a month ago and will be back for Christmas!!! Only 5 months and 1 week to go!!!! :-D

1 6monther while we were dating and 2 underway periods after he got back then we went to Jax and now were here!

I've gone through 2 deployments (and at the end of summer deployment 3 will start) and countless underways, ranging from a few days to 2 months.

we haven't had a real one yet but we've had workups/sea trials

we have deployment #2 breathing down our neck right now. i'll guess we've gone through close to 10 underways. he hasn't even been in 2 years :madwife

geez i cant even imagine going thru what some of you girls have, my db has only been gone for a month and 2weeks at bootcamp he gets home in august and i dn what i will do if he ever gets deployed :(

and now were on our first and only deployment.

Right about now it makes me thankful hes being forced out.

I have been through a short trip that was about a month. And I am currently going through my first deployment.

Lets see 3 deployments in the 4 years of being in SD PLUS MANY MANY dets out on the ship, up to fallon ect.

in the 4 years of being here hes technically been home 1 1/2 years total.

This is deployment #3, but he's been gone for a total of 4 or 5 months of training on top

Db and I have been together 3.5 years but he has hardly had to go anywhere ( compared to how often other people have to leave) He went to New Orleans for a month to help with the relief effort after the hurricane, when to texas for a month of training and then caught about 4 months of a 7 month deployment on his ship tahts he's on now ( he missed the first few months of it b/c of school in texas) Other then that he's been here but his ship is up for a bunch of short trips out starting tomorrow thru christmas, ( like every other weak :(

We have been through one combat deployment and 6 months of him being gone for training, as well as another 2 week annual training each year. For the almost 3 years that I've known him, I've only been with him for less than 2.

One 12 month deployment, preparing for another (12 months in Iraq, three training away from me before that). He also lived in Germany while I lived in the States :(

Sill, Oklahoma for 10 years.(my son and I, anyhow) We moved here from Ft.Campbell, Ky in July 1997. My hubby and I have been married 12 years this August. My son will be 11 this month. Deployments suck.:sadeyes My husband and I had our 1st Army seperation(Warrent officer candidate school)when my son was 6 months old. He was gone for almost 4 months and then we got orders to move to Ft. Sill. My hubby has gone to California for a month for training a few times and LOTS of field time. He went to Korea in 2002-2003, to warrent officer school for a 3 months in 2004 and then 2 months later, left for Iraq and came home January 2006. Then he deployed again this morning, back to Iraq for 15 months.:unlove Before we met, he had been stationed at Ft. Stewart, Ga, Fort Collins,Co, Germany, Korea, KUWAIT and Ft. Campbell, KY. As a couple, we've been through 2 (3?) deployments - one (2?) 6 months and one 9.5 months. We've also been through the accompanying work up cycles for each (aka - countless mini-underways :lol) .

we're going through our first 7 month deployment right now... Iraq :banghead
but we have gone through MAAANNYYY times apart.. i think the shortest was... bootcamp? and the longest as been 20 months... yeah. so 4 more months left of this one and i CANT WAIT til hes home!!

Umm so far 2 I think... he has also gone underway before. They are 4 month deployments since he is on a rotational crew. So yea he should be leaving again in a few months.

He's never deployed, but between basic and tech school, we saw each other 21 days of the 15 months before our wedding.

As a married couple, we've gone through two 6 mo deployments, one 7 mo deployment, one 8 mo deployment to Iraq, and with this sea duty, he will be going on many "secret trips", which I won't be able to know about until he comes back.

He's done 5 six month deployments in the 13 years he's been in the Navy. He's been on numerous short dets or trips.

hes been in for 14 years though, and hes been through a whole shit load of deplyments, 4 major ones. Desert Storm included...

This is my second underway... but it kinda feels like one giant one since we'd broken up and weren't together until right before he left again :(

During our 3.5 year marriage, I've only experience 1 underway that was 10 days long.

During our 8 month dating stage, I experience 1 deployment that lasted for 3 months.

So with that said, I have NEVER experience a deployment while being married.

ETA: Bryan's been in for 6 years.

We are working on number three. The first two were a year and the third is 15 months. Grrrr. He has also done a couple of schools/month long field exercises.

We've had 1 underway.. Which was like a week or week and a half.
And right now we are 1/2 way through our 1st [6 month] deployment.

One deployment and a ton of dets.

2 deployments and 2 years of living apart he is in Norfolk and I am near DC. So basically 2 years of a deployment with R&R maybe once a month.

Dh has done a year in Korea, a year in Iraq and is now doing 15 months in Iraq.
