Anyone ever make these for friends or family?

I have found a lot of people love the soups in a jar. More so than the cookies or brownies. The cookies and brownies look better layered in the jar though.

Soups in a jar sound great! I never thought of that.

I like to think of them as thrifty gift giving ideas. Dh says Im scrooge!

I try to make up some jars for gifts throughout the year..everyone loves getting them..they are a very simple item to make

I make the soup in a jars for my christmas gift baskets...I use an assortment of beans and layer them..then add a small baggie of seasonings on top ( where you can't see it 'cause the decorative topper ruffle hides it)..then I make a tag with instructions and tie it on the jar with raffia...:)

I made some cookie ones with my grandma for christmas. Everyone I gave them to loved them. I saved one for myself and I thought it was so nice. Id even consider having a few just sitting around to use when I want to make some cookies in a hurry.
