My appt wasn't until the 13th... Dh gets a pass from tomorrow, and I get to go pick him up... So I couldn't wait... went to Walgreens, and I bought Sally Hanson Lavender Spa home wax kit...

IT'S NOT WATER SOLUBLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :vent:vent:vent

It started out just fine.... I put one leg up on the tub, and smeared the purple wax on the sides of my who-ha, and put the paper strips on... I tore them off, no biggie, I get waxes all the time, I can TOTALLY handle ripping my pubes out..

But not ALL the wax came off on the strips.. I'm thinking no big deal, I'll just wash it off.. I started to do the "undercarraige" and to do that, I sat on the floor with my bottom on the Walgreens bag so protect my linoleum..

I got it all waxed off, but by the time I had enough, I was sticky all over----it was in my hair even though I had a pony in--- and the bag was STUCK to my ass....

I stood up, and my legs stuck together, AND MY VA-JAY-JAY LIPS STUCK TOGETHER!! I jumped in the shower and started washing with my removable showerhead (thanks DH, I think of you everytime I use it) and the wax wouldn't come off!!!!!!

I jumped out of the shower, and read the instructions, it said "use the bottle of whatever-the-hell-it-is to condition the skin, and remove the excess wax" there was no way that it was going to be enough to get everything off..

I ended up sitting on a grocery bag using mineral oil to clean my private parts..

I pick DH up at 1900 hours tomorrow night. he said not to dress too skanky..:oogle

FYI.... a light dusting of baby powder before waxing will help the wax stick to the hair only, and if any is left over you can usually remove with baby oil... A similiar thing happened to me when I first waxed down there... but I use Surgi Wax brazilian wax..it doesn't use strips but its made specifically for the coarse hair there.

I'm glad you were able to get it all taken care of... especially since hubby will be returning so soon..... I will be going to get my first professional brazilian a few days before my hubby returns.....
