I've given some thought to applying to JAG Corps and interviewed this past spring with JAG recruiters from AF, Navy, and Army. I try to take what I hear from recruiters with a grain of salt, but because I don't personally know any JAGs it's hard to put the recruiters comments in context.

So, I was wondering...

If any of you ladies have friends that are JAGs, or have interacted with JAGs for any reason, or have SOs that are JAGs... what's the good, bad, and the ugly? What do your SOs say about JAGs?

I've known some people with JAG, it was just your average desk job for them. I dont really know what you are looking for but if this is what you want then go for it.

as an attorney, i'm pretty sure i'll end up behind a desk no matter what... for better, for worse.
