OMG I'm going to pull my hair out. My dd is cutting her two bottom teeth. These are her first teeth and I'm going crazy. I give her motrin ever 4 hrs and try teething toys, cold washclothes but she's not interested. She just screams and sucks her thumb. I have errans I need to run but I can't go anywhere b/c she just screams. I feel bad that I can't console her. I guess I just need some support or words of advice. Dh always seems to be gone when I need him the most. :tears :banghead

You will survive, but you just have to roll through it. Have you ever heard of Teething Tablets?? They are the only thing we could find that worked for DD, but they're a Godsend. They're all natural, so they don't interfere with the motrin or any other meds, and we found them at the NEX or Walmart. Hang in there, I remember what a trying time that was. DD has only cut one molar, so I know there will be more to come - but yes, you'll get through it. Just remember that she's not TRYING to be difficult to be around, she's just in the kind of pain she's never been in before :( Poor baby :no

Lighthouse girl~ Thank you so much. I just needed to hear that!! I will try to get some teething tablets. Does she have to swallow them or do they like melt in her mouth? Thank you so much!!:hugs

No they're really easy to use, you're supposed to put them under her tongue to dissolve (they dissolve in a snap) but DD didn't ever like that so we just ended up putting them on her gum where she's teething and it was fine. They're tiny, like the size of maybe half of a pencil eraser.

I know this is such a frustrating time :hugs I'm not sure who makes them, but they come in a little plastic bottle three or so inches tall. It was hard when I went to get them because I didn't know what I was looking for. The bottle is in DD's room and she's taking a nap but if you want me to post a pic of the bottle after she wakes up, I will. It will save you some time.

Yep! Hyland's teething tablets are wonderful! George is still working on his top tooth. SO far he has cut 3 teeth. The first 2, the bottom ones, were not a problem, they just appeared. The top 2... OH MY GOODNESS... We have one of those down, one more to go!

I agree teething tablets are life savers. Kray had no problem teething (even her molars) but Bradley is making up for it. He has 2 popped through on the bottom and they were hell!

I'm not looking forward to teething, lol. Cadence has already started the drooling, and being a little fuzzy, she's only 4 months, but I think the teething has started. Kat cut her first tooth at 4 months too, so I wouldnt be surprised. Kat was an excellent teether, no fever, no fuzziness, nothing. I hope I get lucky again, but if not I may dash for those teething tablets.
