I have been feeling this little one kick since I was probably 15 or 16 weeks and I have always felt this little one kick pretty much all day long especially at work and when I get home and sit on the computer.
Im a little worried because I don't if I have felt any movements today :tears :tears Im just so scared especially since DH is gone.

So my question is how many kicks should I feel and is it normal for me not to feel any movements after I have felt them every day for the past 3 weeks or so.?

Movements will continue to be sporadic until your 3rd trimester. Right now your lil one is small enough that you wont feel all the time. He/she is felt when they accidentally hit your uterine wall.

Once you hit 28 weeks your Dr will likely ask you to do kick counts. But before then it is irrelevant since movement is so sporadic.

Sweet things will get the baby going. Cold water, orange juice etc. I used to drink OJ and lay on my left side and Ethan would usually wake up.

I know it is hard to not worry. Been there and done that. But until you get further I would really try not to. And rest assured your lil one is sleeping and just in a spot they arent kicking the wall. RIght now they are small enough to do flips and somersaults and what not. So when the baby gets too close and kicks off the wall you feel it! When you get further every movement will be felt.

That being said ANYTIME you are worried I would call your Dr. But right now I think all is well. Alot of women are feeling their babys for the first time right now

Thanks Kristi
I usually drink OJ and the baby wakes up I drank almost 2 glasses about an hour or so ago and the baby doesnt want to move around or I just cant feel it. I also ate a lot of fruit so I think thats enough sweets for the little one to move. If I don't feel anything by tomorrow when I get back from work I will call the doctor because I haven't even gotten any BH today and I usually get at least a couple in one day.

Have you thought about renting a doppler? I rented one to put my mind at ease. I only used it when worried. And when I had lack of movement I would usually use my doppler real fast. I rented from www.heartbeatsathome.com and I will do the same when/if we get pregnant again. It was like 24 bucks a month and it was the exact same my Dr office used.

Yep, basically what Kristi said. Your baby can move in different positions so you won't feel him/her.

I know w/ mine, I started to feel her barely at 16 weeks, for sure at about 19, and then off and on until about 25 or so weeks.

Even now at 36 weeks, i'll have days where she is kicking and moving a lot and days where I have to coax her to get my kick counts. i also had that in the beginning, except there were days in a row after a while of feeling her where i didn't. she probably just moved into a position you can't feel her.

Thank you all the baby is a little more active today than he/she was for the past 2 days :)
