Are you the type of parent that walks in front of their children??? Examples would be

In the mall

Walking in the neighborhood

At the beach

Grocery store/commissary/exchange

How can responsible parents watch their children from behind...Safety...
With all the bad stuff happening to kids please make sure you walk behind your children at all times. When walking in the street, sidewalks, curbs..please make sure your walking on the outside...

Kayla usually walks next to me, but I notice when she slows down and will stop and turn around to tell her to come on. She walks to slow and doesn't pay enough attention to anyone besides herself to walk behind her. :lol I constantly hit her with the stroller when I do because she just stops out of nowhere all the time!

My boy won't be old enough to walk on his own for a while but I am definitely going to be a hand holding parent. He'll either have my hand or he'll be in the cart or stroller or where I can see him/he's close/right next to or in front of me at all times.

Not really. For the most part my kids walk in front of me. However, if they are being a butt and fall behind me, I might keep walking to get my point across that we are going. But, like I said, in general my kids do walk in front of me.

We hold Eian's hand everywhere we go....if and it's a big IF he isn't holding our hand then he's pushing the shopping cart, the stroller or whatever else he wants to help us push *lol* or he's right in front of us.

DD walks next to or in front of me. If she falls behind, I stop to get her or start holding her hand. But I need my eyes on her pretty much at all times or I freak out.

We walk side by side usually and I am on the "dangerous" side if need be.

I'm a paranoid parent so we are always side by side holding hands cause you just never know now-a-days!

Dia either walks right next to me or in front. If we're in a the store she usually holds on the front of the cart

Dh & I have always had our kids walk in front of us & on the inner side of danegerous areas, so that we can protect them, dd still also holds our hands most of the time too-I am also a paranoid parent I think
