The Jeeps are good Maclaren Chicco Combi rosebud* 07-13-2007, 01:39 PM I got a cute one at Wal_mart for about 20-30 ( i can't remember) with a top cover. it was an umbrella one. those are great because you can take them anywhere. allypooh 07-13-2007, 01:50 PM I got the Maclaren Triumph Stroller..I love it! It did cost about 150..but i love it and we use it all the time.. girl20racer 07-13-2007, 01:56 PM We just have a umbrella stroller from target, but I would like to get one like rosebud.. with the top on it too MelissaMc424 07-13-2007, 02:00 PM We have a jeep "umbrella" stroller... I love how it accomodates hot weather, you can roll the back pad up to make a pillow and when it's rolled up, the back is mesh to allow air in. It's like this one only ours is black and red... http://www.toysrus.com/product/index.jsp?productId=2542535&cp=2255983.2256189.2256203&parentPage=family Victoria 07-13-2007, 02:02 PM We have a jeep "umbrella" stroller... Kaymara 07-13-2007, 02:02 PM I bought a cosco lightweight umbrella stroller for 19.99 from the Nex here when we first got here. It has a small basket underneath, 2 positon recline and a canopy on top to keep the sun out. It has worked very very well. Ethan even fit in it when we went to sea world MelissaMc424 07-13-2007, 02:04 PM That's the SAME one we have in Vegas! The only downside to it is that it doesn't have the basket. We "test drove" them at toys r us back in TX (bought it before a mini vacation where we'd be walking a lot) Camryn loved the jeep one and we did too. I found that out AFTER I bought and assembled it. I was a bit po'd because the display had an underbasket! MelissaMc424 07-13-2007, 02:07 PM Yeah! I found that out AFTER I bought and assembled it. I was a bit po'd because the display had an underbasket! We originally wanted one with a basket, the Jeep ones that Toys R Us had didn't have baskets at all, unless you bought the big one. I thought the thing had a cupholder when we bought it too..:arg that's what comes with looking at so many in one afternoon..lol Victoria 07-13-2007, 02:09 PM HAHA! Germanchick 07-13-2007, 02:22 PM Thanks for the ideas! The jeep one is one I had looked at online. Good to hear some reviwes on it Potatocup 07-13-2007, 03:05 PM We got the Combi Cosmo which we like except that the handles are too low for us. But i'm 5'11" - it's perfect for my mom who's 5'7". It's really light and folds up with a strap so you can carry it over your shoulder. DoublEE's Momma 07-13-2007, 03:18 PM I still have our heavyweight stroller that we lug around...lol. We tried the umbrella style ones a few times but he was too wide to fit comfortably in them... :( Ashnbri 07-13-2007, 03:57 PM I have a trendsport lite and love it. PrincessBlue505 07-13-2007, 04:20 PM We loved our Jeep Wrangler umbrella stroller....Especially cuz it matched DH's car.....until DH ran the stroller over with HIS Jeep Wrangler. The only downsides were that there's no basket for the diaperbag so if you strap it onto the handles your legs hit it. And the handles were kind of short for us and we'd have to bend over. We loved it for an umbrella stroller. We decided we wanted a stroller smaller than the big ones but one with a basket so it's bigger than an umbrella. We went with the Jeep Cherokee and it's our favorite. Takes up waaaay less room in our trunk than the big ones, the handles are a great height and it has a basket underneath. The only drawbacks is that it is bigger than an umbrella stroller when folded up and we wish the basket underneath was bigger. |
