I mopped my floor this afternoon cause Eian decided to dump juic all over it, so while he was outside playing in the patio I mopped...well I have a fan blowing onto the floor so it dries faster, but he came in and went to go to his room and slipped and fell right on his side and smacked his side of his head on the floor...he screamed and screamed, I calmed him down but now his head is red and a little puffy from landing on the floor....his pupils are the same size and he's reacting to me talking to him and he's answering me, do you think he's okay or do you think I should call his doc and see if they can see him today????

When I fell with Piper, even the nurse at the ER said she looked fine. She ended up having a skull fracture. I would call his Dr.

I agree with not letting him sleep. And you really should call the doctor. That sounds like it might be a concussion. (sp?)

You can let him sleep. I talked to the ER Dr. and her Ped. about that. If they slip into a coma you wouldn't be able to stop it anyway.

Okay...I'm trying to get ahold of his dr now, he seems to be fine..he's giggliely and sitting on my lap.

ETA: The doctor called me back and said that he should be fine just to watch for vomiting or signs of confusion...he's been eating and drinking and acting normal, he is tired but he hasn't had a nap yet either today...she told me to keep him up for another 1- 1 1/2hrs....

Man Hayden has hit his head so many times, and pretty hard too. He's always been fine. I usually don't worry unless there are signs that something is wrong.

Oh gosh, there's been NUMEROUS times with Eian getting hurt...but this one worried me because of the swelling, it was right on the temple, so it worried me. Usually I just give him a booboo kiss and make sure there's no blood...lol
