Can you give a baby watermelon? Obviously after taking ALL of the seeds out...even the little white ones. And with grapes...do you peel them or mush those in with the whole grapes? I want to start making my own baby food to save money and also to give Preston more variety. I swear they only make like 5 flavors!

Hmmm....
Well my mother used to puree bananas, apples, blackcurrents, grapes & peaches for me.
I don't know about watermelon- but it's fruit.. so it couldn't be as bad as some things in the market for babies today.

Miss K has had watermelon and when I give her grapes I peel them and cut them in half. But she's very good at trying to chew things so I'm not too worried about her having bigger pieces either. Another good (and quick) snack recipe is cinamon apples
Peel a red delicious
Cut in wedges
Put in plastic bag and sprinkle with cinamon
Put in microwave for 4 min
Let cool and cut in snack size pieces
Both Miss K and I love eating those

I used to steam and puree veggies, then pour it into ice cube trays. I'd freeze them, then when they were set, I'd put them into a freezer bag. That way when I needed to give him one serving, I could just grab a cube and defrost it..

I don't see why not. As long as you get the seeds out and it's pureed really good. I would google it and check just to be safe.

Watermelon is one you want to wait on if you have food allergies in your family.

I gave the baby watermelon as soon as she could eat it. Its one of the food that she's not allergic too. Even now we call her the Watermelon Queen.
