Okay, so my mother died when I was 2 from cancer and I read this book about 10 years ago. Today I went to B&N and discovered that the author had written another book called, Motherless Mothers. It's really good so far but I'm only a few pages into it and I had to put it down because it made me want to cry because I relate to it so much. Not that crying is bad but a friend and my DH are hanging out in the living room and I prefer to do my crying in private. :sadeyes

So, if you've lost your mother, especially at a young age, I highly recommend Motherless Daughters and I'll let you know how Motherless Mothers goes.

Oh I think I'll check this out. I lost my mom to cancer when I was 12. My older sister is having a hard time dealing with being a new mom cause she wishes our mom could be here. I'll send her the Motherless Mother's book. Thanks for the recommendation.
