I meant to ask this earlier, forgot, and Michelle's post reminded me...

Anyways, Gabby mimics brushing her teeth w/ her tooth brush. She gets some teeth w/ the way she "munches" on the brush & she'll try to swipe the brush back and forth.

The most she'll let me do is her bottom teeth. She won't let me on her top though.

Is this common though w/ 1 yr olds? Not being able to get all the teeth? She has a full mouth of teeth except 2 on top and 2 on bottom. I don't want her teeth rotting out. I pretty much just hope, each day, that the toothpaste will hit the teeth on top from her sucking on the brush. :lol

totally normal. sydney is 2 and she doesn't get all her teeth brushed and i have a hard time brushing them cause she likes to do it herself, you just do the best you can when they let you brush them.

It's a battle brushing DD's teeth. She is just a little over 2yrs old and I've almost always had to hold her down to brush her teeth LOL She acts like I'm killing her :screwy

Yes, it's normal. Taylor always wanted to just chew on the brush. Now I brush her teeth then let her do it herself once I'm done. It takes time.

i would give ethan a toothbrush and then take another and brush his teeth. then let him gnaw on the 1 he was holding. he loves brushing now and the dentist said his teeth were perfect
