I found a number for the Military Hospital over at Balboa and called to make an appt with the OBGYN and they said I had to register with the hospital first. Can anyone help me out? I need to get in for my annual pap and then talk about TTC. I have Tricare Standard now, but on August 1st it goes to Prime.

Go to the tricare office down by the NEX and you can register there. Its simple. They will most likely have you see a PCM outside of the hospital though.

You might want to call Tricare. If you are already going Prime on the 1st then you should already have a PCM with Balboa. Call and double chekc

Call Tricare and get a PCM. For a pap they've never let me see an OBGYN, they make me see a PCM.

Yeah I agree with calling them. You will probably still have to go do paperwork (they had me do it when I registered) so Good luck!!!

I'd call, when we switched to TRIWEST, they were full up, so DD and I got civilian drs. The PCM (MD) does yearly exams, that dr. will refer you out once you're preggers.

Back with TRICARE SOUTH, you only got OBGYN referrals if you were pregnant already, having infertility issues or other female problems.
