After people meet you and your SO, which of you do they think wears the pants?

there is some things that he has weight over and somethings that i do. it's mostly mutual.

People think I do because I talk a lot and make most of the decisions.

What they don't know is that the reason I make most of the decisions is because DH doesn't care to-he can't be bothered. But if it's something that matters or he does decide to bother, then it usually ends up his way. So it looks like I wear the pants but in reality, he does and it only looks the way it does because DH prefers I make most decisions....

We both do, but the running joke is:

"He wears the pants in the family, I just tell him which ones to wear!" :giggle

He tells everyone he wears the pants and I wear the capri's :roflmao I love my husband :five

My family thinks that my dh wears the pants. They think he is a little bit too controlling of me and tends to talk down to me. I don't notice it though :grin:

That is something we are still in the process of figuring out. My parents predict, and his mom agrees, that all he will be able to do is prevent me from hiding the pants :giggle I am a little bit of a control freak about most everything.

We both definitely do, though I think my guy tries to make it look like I wear the pants.

He's always talking about how much smarter I am than he is, but... I'm smart enough to not marry a dumb guy *wink*. We play off of each other.

He'll step up to the plate if needed but most of the time, he just doesn't bother with stuff. We are both passive-aggressive, but I'm the more driven one of the both of us so I get things done. :yes

I, without a doubt, wear the pants. I do let him try them on once every few months or so though ;)

When people meet us they always say we act more like brother and sister ( i think the height has something to do with it too...6'5 compare to 5'0)...I don't care where we are at we will have a hit war. NOT Ike and Tina but we always play around now the baby is my partner she hits and runs. :heehee..I think its cute...:lol

Well, let's just say that I just moved out here with him and just met most of his friends.... He tried to push my buttons in front of his friends and see how far he could get and there was a comment from one of his friends later asking which one of us wore the pants in the family... It was really quite funny. His little act back fired. =) But in reality, we both do!

The way our marriage works is like on My Big Fat Greek Wedding, he is the head of our family, BUT I am the neck steering that head.

Probably me lol He's just so laid back and goes along with whatever so people tend to think I make all the decisions.

Most definitely ME. LOL. I am a total worry wart. I am controlling, loud, strong willed, and decisive. Things have to be done my way or I worry that they won't be done right. He is too laid back to wear the pants. I try to encourage him to take the reigns once in a while so I can sit back and relax and let someone else do all the worrying (as if that is possible... LOL), but it just isn't in his nature. He is a go with the flow and everything will work out on it's own kind guy. I am a life is what you make it kinda gal. It all works out perfectly for us!

I tend to wear the pants....but we share them most of the time. When it comes to the house, etc I definitely wear the pants, but the rest of the time he does.

Ill admit it, he TOTALLY wears the pants..We are so opposites that someone has to be the one in control...Its just not in my personality.

I honestly can say that we're both pretty equal. neither of us really tell the other how its gonna be LOL We try to treat each other equal in every aspect of our lives..

In front of people, I think I might. I usually make the plans and approve things, I deal with most of the finances..but we both take eachother into consideration-so realistically we BOTH wear the pants.
