Don't list it on the customs form as tobacco.. List it as "herbal supplement" or "coffin nails"..

You don't have to list everything. Just most of everything.

And when it ask how much is everything or what not...always put down more then what it is!

I think some Post Offices are :screwy. B/c I never had a problem in J-ville but they gave me hell here in Austin.:puzz

I was told you could send it. I sent Dh "It's A Girl" cigars and I listed it on the customs form without any problems.

Yeah, I send cigars nonstop because dh is a big cigar smoker and I always list em np. I agree Angela, I think it does depend on the post office. The one I go to here is great, but there is another one in town where they are completely ridiculous when it comes to APO's and customs and all that.

I send DH dip every month or so and I've never had any problems. I do know that you shouldn't list anything of value(camera,ect). DH said that after the packages get in country, they have a likleyhood of being opened and stolen before they get him. It happened to him while he was in Iraq and it's already happened to some of the guys he's with iin Afghanistan. I've always been really general on all the customs forms and I've never had any problems with it

I've sent a roll of Copenhagen in every single package that I sent DF... and it always made it there to him. I never listed it on the custom forms. We just packed it in a Pringles can and just put "Pringles" on the form!

Thats a good idea... I thought about putting carton of ciggs in there, and then listing it as a book or something

:yes I always gave things a value that was waaaay lower, so people wouldn't be tempted to steal his goodies...
