Ingredients:
2 cups cubed fully cooked ham
4 cups cubed fully cooked turkey or chicken
1 cup shredded swiss cheese
1 large onion
1/3 cup butter
1/3 cup all purpose flour
1/8 teaspoon ground nutmeg
1/8 teaspoon ground mustard
1 3/4 cup milk
Topping
1 1/2 cup soft bread crumbs
1/2 cup swiss cheese
1/4 cup butter, melted
In a nonstick skillet, saute ham for 5 minutes. Drain and pat dry. In a greased 2 qt baking dish, layer turkey/chicken cheese and ham. Set aside.
In a saucepan, saute the onion in butter until tender. Stir in the flour, nutmed and mustard, until blended. Gradually stir ini milk, bring to a boil. Cook and stir for 2 minutes. Sauce will thicken. Pour over ham.
Combine topping ingredients. Sprinkle over top. Bake uncovered at 350 degrees for 30 minutes.
