I'm 19 and I gave my heart away five years ago and he's been in the Arny 3 of those years. He's been deployed to Iraq once already and is currently stationed in Baumholder, Germany. He's about to go back but before he does, I get to go spend one last Christmas with him. I'm still trying to get used to all of this. I have friends that are married into the service, but they are all in Germany with their husbands. Barry doesn't want us to get married yet, just in case something were to happen to him. That's him though, he's always trying to protect me from something. I think that hurts more than anything though. I see him like twice a year and I talk to him once a week. I just need someone that's here in the states that understands what it's like to never feel his arms or hear his voice. I need a friend...
