How far apart are your kids? What do you think the ideal amount of time is to put between having them?? Originally I only wanted them about 2 years apart but now I'm thinking 4 years (so our oldest is in kindergarten and the youngest can be in daycare while I go to work...).

My girls are just shy of being 4 yrs apart. I love their age gap. Yes they do argue but most kids do that anyways.

our first two are a little less than 2 1/2 year apart. I think that was pretty much PERFECT timing.

Our youngest is 7 1/2 months and I just found our I am pregnant with our 3rd. So, these two will be very close... like 16 months apart. I wouldn't say that's "ideal" but we will be fine. It was a surprise but we were planning to start trying in a few months anyways. I would have PREFERRED 18+ months apart but the little bean had other plans :giggle

My two kiddos are 19months and 4 days apart. If I am pregnant I will be due in November My oldest will be about 3 1/2 then and my youngest will be 2 months away from being 2.

So DS1 and DS2 are 19 months apart
DS1 and DC3? would be about 3.5 years apart
DS2 and DC3? would be 22 months apart

Mara and Morgan will be 3 1/2 years apart. I'm anxious to see how they interact.

My boys are 8 years apart and they still fight and play just like any other set of siblings.

I dont know if there is an ideal amount of time between them. It just seems to happen and then its set for you. Or if you plan its just when you decide you are ready for another.

mine are ages: 10, 5, & 3. So 5 years between the first 2 and 2 years between the youngest and middle child.

I always wanted my kids to be 2 years apart. DH wanted about 4-5. They ended up being 27 months apart. Yea, lately I wish we would have went with DH's plan. :lol

My oldest was 2 when I had my second and my second just turned 1, two months before I had my third just in Feb. So my kids are 3 and a half, 1, and 1 month right now.

Ashtin and Gavin are almost 4 yrs apart(3 yrs 11 months). I originally wanted them to be 2 1/2 yrs apart, but with Phillip was always gone on deployment, and DETs. we both wanted him to be around for my pregnancy, so we waited till he was. But this age gap works for US. They both get along, and play together, and they love each other very much. Ashtin is very protective of Gavin.

Between Breanna and Johnny there is 4.5 yrs. Johnny is 5 months and we are ttc again. I think the ideal space between them is what is right for you. I was just 19 when we had Breanna and I wanted to go to college so having another one so close just wasn't right for us at that time. Now, I am home with Johnny and want to have another one soon so I don't have a huge length of time between now and when he/she starts school so I can go to work (my ideal is to not put them in daycare).

my kids are 3 years 6 months and 6 days apart. I like the gap. some times I wish they were closer so they had more of the same interests but over all im happy with it.

My two are 15 months apart. Originally we wanted them about 3 years apart but right now I love my life and am glad it worked out this way.
