:yes We wanted to but it wasn't possible to do it that way. We were thinking of just using the surveys but with the polls atleast more people will probably see it and get a chance to vote. If we just used the surveys we got the winners would have been different than they are now. Trust me I WISH it could have been a surprise... it's more fun that way. :D

I highly doubt anyone will want to organise any awards in the future after all of the hassle this one has caused for the organisers.

there was drama because some people didn't like that one person got nominated for more than one award.

i actually think they did the best they could. this was a big thing to take on. this is supposed to be all in fun too and to me it doesnt matter if i win anything or not but its nice to see that there were people that voted for me and nominated me for something and it wont hurt my feelings if i dont win. i just dont see what the problem is.

I didnt think it was rude. It didnt bug me at all to see the polls winners. Why let something small like that bug you and think its rude. just my opinion

Yes we asked to make the polls results private but you cant. We didnt get too much of a response for the surveys so a poll was the best option to get a majority to pick the winner.

well they might have gotten nominated for more than one but they have decided to let those people only win the category with the most votes and then if they win more than one it would go to the person with the second highest votes. I dont have a problem with that at all.

We wouldn't have been able to make it so each poll had different people and no one was in more than one poll. It would have been too much of a pain to make sure that happened for something that was meant to be fun. :shrug Maybe IF we got more surveys we MIGHT have been able to do that but even then it wouldn't have been fair since the person who got the most votes in the surveys might not have been in the polls because we had to kick them out of it to make sure they were only in one poll. The whole thing would have been one huge headache and just silly.

Fourth, I never said the idea wasn't fun at all. I do recall we did this last summer as well. I like the idea of having them.

:edit the only thing i found to be "rude" was the results. Just for those who were didn't get very many votes compared to someone else. But then again this was just MY OPINION that really didn't need to be picked apart. A simple "it was already tried and wasn't possible. Could have been a suffice answer. :shrug
